Morgan’s aim is to is to inspire bold and functional self-expression through the use of color, pattern, and social impact.

“What you wear defines your personality; align your style with your values.” Through creating sustainable employment, supporting African businesses, and delivering training programs for artisans & leadership opportunities team members, Geometric makes products not only good for people wearing them, but also good for those crafting them, from start to finish."

Morgan was a Youth & Yunus Global Fellow for social entrepreneurship in 2020. Her background in teaching, community development, and social impact defines and guides her business model.

PATRON IDDRISU NURUDEEN
LEATHER ARTISAN

Patron leads our leather processing production. He was trained by our Master Trainers on international leather standards & natural processing techniques used at Geometric. He developed our leather dyeing process alongside his teammates by using natural ingredients such as lime, coconut water, and rust from found metals.

As a person with a physical disability who has benefited from his craft, he hopes to teach the art of craftsmanship to others with physical disabilities. By creating this space, Patron shows all of us the possibilities that exist when we practice inclusivity in handcrafted design and the creative industries.

Geometric-Felicia - Handbag Artisan

FELICIA
MASTER ARTISAN

Felicia is an artisan team member who naturally learned to create GEOMETRIC bags & accessories, but has a skilled background in garment production. Felicia is insistent on quality and teaches others techniques and solutions to produce our superior quality products. Felicia enjoys her work, her team, and says that “since I joined Geometric, I have learned how to work with leather. Now I am building a house on a plot of land with my savings.”

APANA AYINBIRE
LEATHER ARTISAN

Apana recently joined the leather artisan team and quickly applied skills in leather dying and leather processing. His knowledge of the leather trade derives from his background growing up in the Upper East, Bolgatanga region of Ghana where basket weaving and leather craftsmanship is part of his family tradition and livelihood.

Apana brings his love of art to Geometric and is passionate about building up local artistry, promoting Ghanaian craftsmanship, and showing others that it is possible to build a career in the handcrafted industry.

Geometric Musah

MUSAH
HR & OPERATIONS OFFICER

Musah joined Geometric as the HR & Operations Officer. He is the brains behind coordinating our properties, taking care of staff welfare, and the smooth running of our operations. With a degree in HR from Valley View University, Musah is excited to be working in his career field and applying his skills in administration at Geometric.

AUDREY
PRODUCTION MANAGER

Audrey started with Geometric as the Sales and Operations Associate. She quickly applied her background in fashion and design and moved up to Production Manager in 2022. She has always had a keen interest in the fashion world and is currently studying fashion design at Joyce Ababio College of Design in Accra, Ghana. Audrey’s future aspirations are to influence the fashion industry by creating timeless designs and hopes to gain this experience while working with Geometric in Ghana.

SULEMAN
MASTER METALSMITH

Suleman is a Master Metalsmith who runs his own shop at the Art Center in Labadi. He inherited the love of jewelry design and use of traditional metalsmithing techniques from his Grandfather. Suleman is a true representation of artisan work being passed down from generation to generation. His hope is to grow his business and pass his skills on to his children.

JULIANA
SEAMSTRESS & HANDBAG ARTISAN

Juliana is a seamstress who began making her own designs while at university in Ghana. She saw a need for bag repair when many of her friends didn’t know how to fix damaged school and work bags. She had always loved design and fashion, so she began repairing people’s old bags and creating her own designs. Now Juliana is a versatile and skilled self-taught seamstress and handbag artisan. Her work with Geometric allowed her to grow her own business and eventually leave her full-time job. Check out @efiamadge on Instagram to see Juliana’s creative designs.

SOLOMON
MASTER BEADSMITH

Solomon is a Master Beadsmith who makes our Glass Bead jewelry. He is from the Krobo region of Ghana where the tradition of making glass beads from recycled glass bottles and scraps has been a part of the community for generations. He is passionate about teaching others about the importance of bead-making in Ghanaian culture and he is a true creative who never fails to make something entirely new. MASTER BEADSMITH

Geometric partners with raw materials suppliers in Ghana, Mali, and Cote d’Ivoire. These partnerships sustain artisan work in hand-woven textile production, leather, brass, and beads. We aim to invest back into the supply chain to create employment and business opportunities in Africa. Additionally, 90% of our packaging materials are made in Ghana with the aim of using as little plastic as possible. No plastic and reusable packaging goals by 2022!
